Maybe this not creating is the way to go. I won, again! I was the Day One winner for this months PTI release. In 2-6 weeks, a box of goodies will come for me containing the new set Peaceful Poinsettia, an old favorite, Holiday Wishes, clear rhinestones, and clear epoxy dome stickers! How cool is that?!
Actually, I have made a card this week. Still no pictures to share, but they are coming. I am working on all the samples for my class. The first one looks great! Not to mention Micheal's keeps giving me 50% off coupons and I feel like I have to shop with that big a discount. So each time, I go, I have some great new idea for a card and usually by the time I get back home, I have forgotten the idea, but I have some cool new craft supplies. I know something is weighing on my mind, becasue I am hording craft supplies. I'll be gald when I figure out the issue. At this rate, I'll be broke soon and then that will be weighing on my mind.
I'll charge the camera and take some pics of the new cards this weekend and hope to share the samples next week. Until then, check out the new releases at PTI.

EMBELLISH MAGAZINE
by
Sally Watkins
SOMETHING NEW TO INSPIRE YOU! If you haven't heard, Ashley Cannon Newell is bringing a new publication, Embellish Magazine, to those of us addicted to paper crafting and challenges. I may be a slacker crafter, meaning I really just collect products and never actually create, but that does not mean I am out of the loop on the "whos its and whats its" of paper craft. I subscribe to the "right" blogs!
This looks like it might get me motivated to create. Well, the fact that I have a class to teach in October might also be the reason I actually create, but Embellish Magazine will certainly provide some inspiration for the card designs I use in that class. This just in...
I won for the drawing for Ashley's blog! Oh, how exciting! Here I was typing another new adventure and did not even know I won.
Thanks for sharing, Ashley. At least the four people who read my blog know about your new publication.

CHA was a BLAST!
by
Sally Watkins
Oh my, I really enjoyed CHA! The fun, the people, the make and takes, the stamps, the paper, the products... I could go on and on. Then there are my crafting heroes, Nichole and the Papertrey Ink DT members. The crew from SCS. I am never speechless, and the first sighting of Nichole and Dawn McVey left me unable to form words. Needless to say, I got over it and feel pretty confident they might have considered me a stalker by the end of the show. I really appreciated the opportunity to chat with Cambria Turnbow at SCS as well as Jeanne and all the ladies helping with booth. The cupcakes really hit the spot! My back seat is filled with new craft stuff. When I get back from all my student retreats, I am going to go crazy unpacking and organizing! Once I get the camera batteries charged, I'll share all the good stuff and a few more stories from the show. If you were lucky enough to attend, I hope you had a BLAST, too.
